I found this opportunity to talk with the Head of Marketing For Analytics & Assurance at Ericsson, Neil Lilley. We met at the 2018 Ericsson OSS / BSS Summit, User Group event in New York City in the USA. I even asked him to share his insights on what this year’s event had to proffer.
Our discussion started with Neil talking about his roles and responsibilities and actually covering what’s his remit.
We further talked about the latest, exciting announcement that came out concerning Erickson’s acquisition of settings. I asked him to share his thoughts on what that actually means and cover it briefly for the viewers to understand it well.
In the meanwhile, Neil explained that dynamic orchestration is Erickson’s way of offering closed-loop automation and in network management, and in the OSS space in general, it covers inventory that also encompasses all types of actual execution around orchestration it includes analytics and assurance.
Later while discussing Ericsson Oss Bss user group event insights, we talked about how does he see the integration and what his world’s been till lately with concern to the expert analytics, so you’ve been doing your side Eric’s. Now with the integration of what’s inexperience to the table, I mean you’ve been working with them sometime and various forms that now they’re part of the family.
Neil also stated that they’re seeing for our operator customers of course 5g is driving so much now all the nudism various sorts of use cases that you mentioned but also the IoT use cases we’ve been looking at it for a while are going to come out of 5g right.
While concluding, he shared what the integration looks like also the fact that key benefits that enterprises consume are more than any look forward to leveraging from the chef’s acquisition. He even talked about the impressive use cases.
