CrowdStrike announced the appointment of Geoff Swaine as Vice President (VP), for the for Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) region, replacing former CrowdStrike vice president for the region, Mr Andrew Littleproud, who retired in November last year after almost 6 years at Crowdstrike.
Mr Swaine has been with Crowdstrike for over 5 years, and previously played a leading role in CrowdStrike’s global channel program as Global Vice President, Cloud and Technology Ecosystems and Program Strategy, a position he held for 18 months.
Prior to this Mr Swaine lead CrowdStrike’s expansion in the channel reseller sector as the APJ Regional Vice President, Alliances and APJ Alliances Director.
With over two decades of experience in the technology industry, Mr Swaine’s career prior to CrowdStrike includes Managing Director for Australia at Bluecoat Systems (acquired in 2016 by Symantec), and General Manager for ANZ South at Intel Security.
In his new role as VP for APJ, Mr Swaine will be responsible for driving the growth and expansion of CrowdStrike’s business across the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region.
Swaine’s 20 years of experience in the technology industry also includes serving as Managing Director, Australia at Bluecoat Systems, which was acquired in 2016 by Symantec, and General Manager, ANZ South at Intel Security.

CrowdStrike reports they have grown consistently in the APJ region, growing the number of customers 55% year over year to the end of July 2022, with their team of employees growing by 57% year over year to over 950 employees.
